About

Aaucla is a wooden chair company founded in Toulouse, France in 2020. Both an innovation laboratory and an artisanal workshop, Aaucla combines digital manufacturing technologies with traditional craftsmanship. The assembly of wooden parts, as well as the finishes, remain manual. Digital machines ensure the precision needed for series production while providing enhanced safety and better working conditions. Increasing production rate at the expense of quality goes against our philosophy. We prioritize maintaining a high level of quality throughout all the manufacturing process to offer users high-end chairs meant to last.

To ensure this, we have chosen not to use subcontracting except in rare cases. From design to production engineering or marquetry work, we have all the skills in-house. As such, we invest in specialized tools, similar to those used in the aeronautics or automotive industry. However, we remain open to collaborations, particularly on the aesthetic level (such as straw marquetry, wood texturing, special finishes, etc.). You are invited to contact us for any suggestions on this subject via our email contact@aaucla.com

This know-how has enabled Aaucla to honor contracts for the making of complex parts, particularly in polyacetal (POM) intended for the aeronautical and pharmaceutical industries in the Toulouse region. Demonstrating the quality of execution and service that Aaucla is capable of, this has also helped to finance its development. From specific stains to the addition of copper, brass, cork, or marquetry, we offer a wide variety of finishes and ornaments to meet every request.

We take great satisfaction in making our chairs. We hope using them brings you just as much.
